November 2016 Fishing Report And Forecast

The cool winds of Fall are upon us and the fishing has really started to heat up for sailfish and Wahoo offshore. Inshore, pompano, permit, and even bonefish have been biting when the winds blow from the north. When the winds have been Northeast there have been a few mahi mahi biting near the reef only a mile offshore. We have been targeting sailfish with live bait and trolling for the Wahoo and the mahi with lures. Inshore along the intracoastal,we have been using cut shrimp to catch the pompano, permit, and bonefish. The snook and tarpon have been tougher to find with water temps cooling down, but after a heavy rain the snook bite should continue to be good even during cooler weather.
