Book your next Boca Raton fishing charter with Capt. Chris Agardy to experience the sportfishing trip of a lifetime. Captain Chris was born and raised in Boca Raton, FL, where he learned to fish at the age of 4. Chris has been working on Boca Raton fishing charter boats since he was 15 years old, becoming a charter captain when he turned 23 years old. For the last decade he has been guiding clients to trophy catches of kingfish, dolphin, wahoo, snook, tarpon, sailfish, sharks, swordfish, blackfin tuna, mutton snapper, and more in local waters. Captain Chris runs his fishing charters on 2 different charter boats for fishing offshore or inshore waters.
We also offer offshore fishing charters in Boca Raton for swordfish aboard a 50′ Viking sport fish boat called the “St. Judith III”. This luxurious charter boat is docked in Boca Raton, where up to 12 anglers can enjoy a fun day of offshore fishing. The boat is equipped with an exquisite and comfortable interior as well as the latest in marine electronics and fish-finding devices. This is a great charter boat for bigger parties looking for a comfortable ride and experience out on the offshore fishing grounds. We offer pickup for all fishing charters at the Boca Raton Resort and Beach Club. We are also offering charter pickup at the Waterstone Resort as well. This boat is also equipped to offer customers swordfishing charters during the daytime. Our full day Boca Raton swordfish charters offer world class big game fishing for one of the world’s most elusive gamefish, the broadbill swordfish. This is the best offshore fishing charter boat in Boca Raton, and our repeat customers know that they can expect an incredible day out on the water every time.
Captain Chris offers inshore fishing charters in Boca Raton aboard the 20ft Angler center console named “Happy Fish”. This is the perfect option for anglers looking for exciting light tackle fishing action on the intracoastal, without having to deal with excessive waves offshore. The intracoastal waterway in the Boca Raton area is teeming with wildlife, and fishing for tarpon, snook, jacks, shark, barracuda, bluefish, and mackerel can be exceptional during certain times of year. Our inshore fishing charters are more affordable and can comfortably bring up to 4 anglers per trip. Captain Chris likes to fish with two rods at a time during these intracoastal fishing charters. This means that if there are more than two anglers on the boat they will take turns holding the rods.
Our standard Boca Raton fishing charters include trolling with artificial and natural dead baits on inshore and offshore waters, but live bait charter fishing trips are available as well. Live bait costs extra during our trips, but it is often the best way to catch certain fish such as snook, tarpon, sailfish, cobia, and large king mackerel. Trolling with dead baits works best for jacks, dolphin (mahi mahi), wahoo, tuna, barracuda, bonito, and more. We also offer fly fishing charters for experienced fly fishermen looking to catch tarpon, snook, jacks, sailfish, false albacore and mahi mahi. We offer specialized sailfish charters in the winter in which we use a kite in conjunction with live baits to catch as many as a dozen sailfish per day. Other specialty trips that we offer include goliath grouper fishing near a shipwreck, and swordfishing out in the Gulfstream.
Every Boca Raton Fishing Charter includes fishing licenses, ice, bait, tackle, water, fuel, captain, first mate, and more. Our 2 boats make up the perfect fleet for local charters in the Boca Raton area. Captain Chris runs these boats on a full time basis, and professionalism is his specialty. We don’t mind teaching novice anglers the ropes, but we also encourage expert fishermen to book with us as well. The local knowledge and tips you will learn from one of our Boca Raton Fishing Charters will undoubtedly make you a better fisherman.
