Here are the best SUP locations in Boca Raton to enjoy one of our rental boards:

Lake Boca

This massive sandbar hangout spot is located a few hundred yards West of Boca Raton inlet in the intracoastal waterway. During the weekends, the shallow sandbar is a very popular mooring area for boats, jet skis, kayaks, and Sup boarders looking for a true South Florida sandbar party experience. At low tide, the sandbar is about knee deep and it is possible to walk around. During high tide, a swift current makes wading difficult and it is recommended to stay on your craft or SUP board. Silver Palm Park offers easy SUP access to Lake Boca, but there is limited parking so try and get there before 10am. We offer free delivery and pickup for our Boca Raton SUP rentals to Silver Palm Park.

Spanish River Park

Spectacular SUP boarding opportunities abound  at Spanish River Park. The park offers ocean beach access on the East side of the park and Intracoastal access on the West side of the park. SUP boarding is very popular on both sides of the park, and when the ocean is too rough, the Intracoastal waterway offers a nearby no wake zone near a lagoon at neighboring Lake Wyman Park. Spanish River Park offers free parking East of the Intracoastal bridge on Spanish River Blvd, but finding a parking spot is difficult after 8am. It is recommended to get there early insure a free parking spot along the side of the road. If you can’t find a free parking spot, there is pay parking available within the entrance to the park for a small fee. This is a popular destination for college kids from FAU, and SUP enthusiasts abound. We offer delivery and pickup of our Boca Raton SUP rentals to the Spanish River Park location

South Beach Park

South Beach Park offers beach access at the East end of Palmetto Park Road. Parking is difficult after 8am, but early birds are rewarded with free parking and easy SUP board access to the ocean. There is additional free parking to the West along Palmetto Park Road, but there is a bit of a walk if you park down the street. The beach here offers sandy bottom and beautiful blue water, especially around the high tide. This is a great launching point for a SUP boarding adventure, and boarders heading South can paddle to Boca Raton Beach Club Resort only 3/4 mile away. The resort is located at the Boca Raton Inlet rock jetty, which offers great snorkeling. We offer delivery and pickup for our Boca Raton SUP rentals to South Beach Park if this is the location you choose to go.

South Inlet Park

This park has all amenities you need for a fun day at the beach. This is an excellent beach for SUP boarders looking for waters protected from a hard Northeast wind. The long rock jetty is great for fishing and there are small patch reefs for snorkeling in an area guarded by county Lifeguards. This is a great spot to teach the kids how to SUP board. Parking requires a small fee, but the park is worth it if you are planning to entertain a family especially. We offer delivery and pickup for our Boca Raton SUP rentals to South Inlet Park if this is the location you choose to go.

Hillsboro El Rio Park

This is the preferred location for SUP boarders looking for a tranquil backcountry river experience in Boca Raton. The El Rio and Hillsboro canals intersect near a mangrove shoreline that is a perfect habitat for native birds, iguanas, and fish. There is limited boat traffic in this area, and the waters are very smooth along this inland Florida “river”. We offer delivery and pickup for our Boca Raton SUP rentals to Hillsboro El Rio Park if this is the location you choose to go.

Red Reef Park

Red Reef Park offers ocean beach and intracoastal access to a no-wake boating zone. The beach on the ocean side offers a beautiful reef located along the shoreline. This is the best place to snorkel in Boca Raton. This is also a great place to go fishing for barracuda and snook. The waters are pretty clear in this area, and you can paddle right over the reef at high tide when the ocean is calm. We offer delivery and pickup for our Boca Raton SUP rentals to Red Reef Park if this is the location you choose to go.
