January 2017 Fishing Report And Forecast

January forecast: best bet offshore is Wahoo, sailfish, kingfish, and mahi mahi. Best bet inshore is jacks and Spanish mackerel. Tarpon and snook will be good at night during Southerly winds.

Big jacks have been biting in the intracoastal waterway during our inshore charters!
Another big jack falls victim to a live bait during an inshore charter.
We caught this big kingfish during a morning offshore charter while we were targeting Wahoo!
Snook have been biting during our evening trips.
This 40 lb Wahoo was the biggest fish of the month. It ate a spoon while we were trolling offshore.
There have been a couple small mahi mahi biting on the outside of the reef.
When the seas are rough we often experience great inshore bottom fishing for snapper and porgies on the intracoastal.
