Offshore Fishing (Trolling/Live Bait)
Our offshore fishing charters are by far the most popular trips among our customers. These offshore fishing adventures are available as half day or full day trips, departing at 8am and 1pm every day. You don’t have to ride far to get to the offshore fishing grounds off Boca Raton, and excellent fishing is just a 5 minute boat ride from the dock! Offshore fishing charters involve using live baits, often suspended from a kite. Kite fishing is the most productive method for catching trophy fish in the Boca Raton area. We use 20 lb class fishing gear for most our live bait trips, giving anglers a chance to catch fish up to 60 lbs on very light tackle. The species that are available on our Boca Raton fishing charters include sailfish, wahoo, tuna, king mackerel, mahi mahi, sharks, snapper, grouper, cobia, and more! Fishing licenses, bait, tackle, ice, and water are all provided during your charter. The only thing I would suggest you should bring is protective clothing and sunglasses. Daytime Swordfishing
Some of the best swordfishing in the whole world can be experienced in the offshore waters only 12 miles East of Boca Raton Inlet. This means that you can literally be fishing for monster swordfish within a half hour of leaving the dock on a calm day. Swordfishing charters are definitely more popular during the Summer months, when the wind is light and the seas are calm offshore. These swordfish range from 50-500 lbs, and we fish for these monsters using 80lb class tackle. When a swordfish is landed on one of our Boca Raton fishing charters, our clients may keep up to 50 lbs of fillets to take home for the dinner table. Swordfishing is a game of patience, as it can often take hours for a single bite, but when that swordfish bite finally comes and you hook up, it is one of the most exhilerating experiences in all of sportfishing! Other species that we may catch while fishing for swordfish include mahi mahi, wahoo, tuna, and escolar. Inshore Fishing
The inshore fishing around the Boca Raton area is nothing short of unbelievable. Our inshore fishing trips consist of fishing the intracoastal and barrier island beaches around the Boca Raton area. We use live bait methods to hook into species such as tarpon, snook, redfish, bonefish, permit, jack crevalle, spanish mackerel, barracuda, snapper, grouper, bluefish, and ladyfish. Every season presents new inshore fishing opportunities around the Boca Raton area, with Spring and Summer marking the peak of the tarpon, bonefish, snook, and permit run. During the Winter months we target the spanish mackerel, ladyfish, bluefish, and pompano around the beaches. Fly fishermen are welcome on our inshore fishing charters, and Capt. Chris and Capt.
