01/27/16 Fishing Report: Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, King Mackerel, Barracuda, And Bluefish

Boca Raton Fishing Report: Hi this is Captain Chris Agardy with the Boca Raton fishing report for January 27, 2016. The last couple weeks we have been doing mostly offshore charters. We have finally started to get some cold fronts in our area and the fishing has been getting better as the water temps are starting to drop. Before the cold fronts we have been catching wahoo and mahi. After the cold fronts we have been having our best luck with sailfish and mahi mahi. When the action is slow we have been catching monster barracudas on the local shipwrecks. Our most notable catch was on New Years Eve when we landed a rare white marlin only 4 miles from shore. The wahoo bite has been slow but there have been a few around. Here are some photos and video from some of our recent charters to start the New Year in 2016:

12/08/14 Boca Raton Fishing Report: Snook, Tarpon, Jack Crevalle, Barracuda, Sunshine Bass

12/08/14 Boca Raton Fishing Report: For this week’s fishing report we are starting to see a Winter pattern set in as water temperatures are dropping in the backcountry areas. The snook are becoming harder and harder to find with cooler water temps and less rainfall, but the tarpon fishing is just beginning to heat up in the intracoastal waterway. While using live bait we were able to jump two small tarpon in the Boynton Beach area last week. There has been no shortage of jack crevalle, and we have been releasing at least a dozen per trip. Other exotic species caught this week were sunshine bass, and barracuda. The snook fishing will only be good during warm periods in between fronts, but the tarpon fishing should continue to improve over the next couple weeks. Call us to book a Boca Raton fishing charter today at 561-451-7646.

Boca Raton Fishing Report: Last week’s fishing charters saw some great fishing and great weather offshore! We have been catching sailfish on live baits while kite fishing, amberjack and barracuda near the shipwrecks, and mahi mahi while trolling the blue water. We expect the great fishing to continue as long as the weather holds up during our Boca Raton deep sea fishing charters. Give me a call to book a trip!
