Depending on the season and conditions, tarpon travel along the coastline following schools of baitfish. When the fish move close to shore, anglers can have opportunities to hook surprisingly large tarpon without ever stepping onto a boat. We’ll meet you at the fishing location with the appropriate tackle and help you target these powerful fish from shore.

During favorable periods, schools of tarpon migrate along the South Florida coastline. These fish may travel beaches, inlets, and nearshore waters while following schools of bait. Our larger boat gives us the ability to cover considerably more water while searching for moving fish. Ocean tarpon trips can involve locating schools of fish, positioning the boat ahead of their movement, and presenting live bait or other appropriate tackle as the tarpon pass. Delray Beach provides access to productive stretches of beach as well as miles of Intracoastal Waterway, canals, bridges, docks, and other structure where tarpon may feed. Our small skiff is particularly well suited for exploring these protected waters and targeting fish in areas that aren’t practical for larger charter boats.

Boynton Beach Tarpon Fishing

Boynton Beach gives us access to both inshore and offshore tarpon opportunities. Boynton Inlet connects the Intracoastal Waterway directly with the Atlantic Ocean, creating strong tidal movement and an environment where baitfish and predators frequently concentrate. Depending on current conditions, a Boynton Beach tarpon charter may take us into protected inshore water, around the inlet, along the beaches, or into the ocean.
